Camping

We had planned to go to Cavalier camping in July but when we got our travel dates for Bulgaria it conflicted and so we moved the week to September.  The camp ground was nearly deserted and the lake was completely deserted so even though some of the days were a bit chilly we took full advantage of our week of holidays.  We rented a tiny little cabin that has 2 bunk beds and a loft in it.  It is cozy and works perfectly for us!

We did a lot of biking, playing frisbee and of course skiing.  Coden skied for the first time and Bryer beach started for the first time.  Josiah has really taken to barefooting much to the delight of his Grandpa!

We played games of Uno and climbed trees in the bush.

THe week before we went camping my Grandpa Schroeder passed away.  We were very sad but thankful that he could go and meet the Lord.  We were able to talk about many memories that we had with Grandpa while we were camping.  We went back to Altona for the funeral during our camping week.  We all got to spend some time with Grandpa in the hospital to say good bye and let him know how much we all love him and thank him for being a special Grandpa and Great Grandpa.
