We had another wonderful day with our kiddos! 9:30 was our meeting time and we thought we would be up well before then because we went to sleep at 10pm but at 9:00 we woke up with a start! We only have half an our before our kids will be here!!! I guess we were really tired! We made it though and even had a quick breakfast at the buffet. Sevy and Geero (not real spellings or full names to protect their identity) were a bit guarded but they warmed up really quickly when we started playing games. It was raining in the morning so the morning was low key (no soccer whew!) They are big on Uno and Nuscht (which is low German for nothing.) In their language it is neeshtah so that is the new name for the dice game. They are very good in math and very interested in the scores. We brought Geero some soccer shin pads as a gift but we didn't bring socks because we didn't know what colour he would want so we took them to the market to find some. We also noticed that the need for shoes was Urgent and so we put that on the agenda as well. Oh my! I had to hold back the tears when we saw their feet. They are so non assuming and are so used to not having what they need that they don't know what they need and would never ask for anything. We love them so much our hearts are going to hurt badly when we have to leave them! After Sevy got her shoes she and I were waiting outside the bank while Travis, Geero and the translator were changing some money into Leva, she couldn't stop looking at her new shoes and then she threw her arms around me with a huge smile! I told her I loved her and she reciprocated. She held my hand the rest of the afternoon.
We are also so thankful that my parents are taking great care of our children while we are gone! They have been so so supportive and excited for us during this whole process! Sevy and Geero were very pleased to meet their Baba this morning for the first time! ❤️The Lord hand picked these children for us and we are so blessed to be here with them!

Nearly every meal we have here is trim healthy mama style! They eat so many veggies with their meals here.
This cat was sitting in the outdoor restaurant we had supper at. She looks just like our cat Pixie and she was pregnant just like Pixie. Did our cat climb into our luggage?
Off to bed for us! Tomorrow is another exciting day!
Wow
