Here are the coats of arms that we made our first week of school. The kids came up with them after doing some research of different coats of arms and what the symbols and colors on them mean. They picked a crown to represent Travis at the top with a cross inside of it to signify Christ. I am the 2 hearts on either side of the crown. Then there are 5 starts underneath and they picked a color to represent each child. Purple meant royalty and they picked that for S. Blue meant loyal for B. Red means strong and they gave that one to J. Silver meant caring for C and green was for friendly and they assigned that to Coco. The tree with a river by it was to represent our family and the roots we are growing. I was very impressed the the thought that they put into it and they had fun playing with them!

Puppies are here! Jill and Jak our Golden retrievers had 8 pups on Sept. 29Th. They are too cute and the kids are excited. We are not holding them much yet in order to give Mom space to do her work but the time is coming when C will hardly leave their cozy box. She is our animal lover. There are 6 girls and 2 boys in the bunch. Here they are 48 hrs old.
The first one to hold a puppy. She didn't want to give her back to Jill!
