Today we entered into Mexico. We left the hotel at about 10am after the kids had a chance to swim and we went to buy groceries to make sandwiches for lunch. The boarder town Nogales is about 1 hour from Tucson. Once we got to the boarder we stopped to get our visas which took about an hour. There was a man selling burritos in the parking lot so Travis bought some for us to add to our lunch. They were so good and it made for a great welcome into Mexico! The 5 hour trip seemed long with all the winding roads, construction and a public protest about road taxes in the last city but we finally arrived at Brian & Clarissa's house at 6:oopm. They cooked up at scrumptious disco with fresh salsa and we feasted Mexican style! We are so glad to be here!
The cousins were so glad to be together again! It had been 6 months since they had seen each other! Leah is 8 months old now and what a sweet heart she is!!
