Today the team arrived and we settled into the mission center in San Carlos. It is a beautiful facility and we feel like we are at a resort. We hear that Brenda (the founder of Koenes ministries) is a great cook and we are in for some top notch Mexican cuisine.
We started the day off slow. Brian, Travis and the boys went to help at the center with setting up bunks for the team. After lunch we took another trip to the beach but this time the men came along with of course the quads. Sand dunes and quads just go together so they had fun ripping around on the sand before we all went and took a much needed nap. When we woke up the team was just arriving in time for a snack and then off to a church service in Independencia.
We did a few of our puppet shows for them.
We sang our Spanish songs.
What a great service! The Praise and Worship there was electric and alive!!!!!! It will be remembered by our team and it was a great way to kick off our time here. We returned to the mission center for supper.
